Eco Resort Network is an exclusive group of people actively working in sustainable, outdoor hospitality. This includes operators of resorts around the world, people planning and building resorts, suppliers, consultants, investors and press.
The Network was established in 2019 and, during the lockdown years, four successful online events created a community around the globe. In 2022, the first in-person networking event was held in Slovenia and attracted 50 delegates, sponsored by the Slovenian Tourist Board and YALA Luxury Canvas Lodges.
Following the Slovenia event in June 2022, we are already aware that more than 10% of delegates have pursued new business opportunities directly as a result of the connections they made. These include approaches from investors, distribution agreements, strategic partnerships and sales of goods and services. This does not include the many new friendships, referrals and recommendations which resulted from spending quality time among like-minded people.
Many of the delegates from 2022 have already expressed a strong desire to join the event again in May 2023, claiming that it is their “favourite event in the calendar”. We believe the combination of curating a highly focused group of high-end delegates, pleasant surroundings and the chance to visit an eco resort as part of the event has proven to be extremely popular.

She is an experiential lodging specialist, advisor, and consultant helping worldwide outdoor projects during their developing and planning stages, to set up & run their site successfully and become globally recognised.

Steph is the publisher of the International Glamping Business and Glamping Business Americas trade publications, with a worldwide readership of 25,000. She has a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry, having been a magazine editor for over 20 years in the trade press whilst also running her own PR and marketing agency.
