Ahmad studied for his bachelors in Business Administration & Management back in 2013 from Webster University Geneva. From there, he moved straight into his Masters in International Business from Hult International Business School London. After studying in London, Ahmad made his way back to Oman, where he began working in ARAD Group of Companies. The group has several projects in the tourism sector, and it is this area where Ahmad really found his passion, having great pride in delivering the best experience possible.
What projects are you currently involved in?
We currently have two main projects under the tourism branch are the Dhabab Resort, a stylish 5-star boutique beach resort located half way between Muscat and Sur, and Kei Ocean Front — the sustainable project that is sure to make a splash.
What makes Kei Ocean Front Resort unique?
Kei Ocean Front Resort will be the first of its kind within the Sultanate, and is just a one-and-a-half-hour drive from the capital of Muscat. The location of the resort really sets it apart, as it is situated in the heart of Oman’s tourism treasures, with wonderful places such as Hywait Najeem (Aka Bihmahh Sinkhole), Wadi Shab and Wahiba Sands (pictured), all not far from the resort.
Kei Ocean Front Resort retains a 340,000 sqm plot and is set to be an 86-key resort, with 57 single rooms, 27 double, and 2 imperial suites. All these will be rooted in the concept of “peace with nature” — which is a concept that involves working with the wellbeing of the environment in mind, leaving only a “green footprint.” This is achieved by using tented suites, built predominantly on raised decks, which integrate harmoniously with their environment. This solution is offers unique elegance while preserving the natural landscape.
Kei Ocean Front is positioning itself at the forefront of ‘experiential travel’ and ‘wellness tourism’ in Oman, welcoming guests in tented suites to provide the new holiday experience they are looking for, with a low environmental cost — a symbiotic relationship between elegant hotel services and the heart of nature.
Are there any investment opportunities at Kei Ocean Front Resort?
Ahmed is not coming to Eco Resort Network with the intention of of acquiring investors, however if he connects with someone who can bring added value to the project, then there is always the opportunity to reach out.
What Ahmad will be doing at the Eco Resort Network
Ahmad and his team are hoping that through Eco Resort Network they will meet suppliers for eco-friendly tents, operators that have done tented resorts in the past, and a firm in which to market the resort when near completion for customer acquisition.
